Very pleasant evening. Waitresses are all friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and hot. Portion sizes are very good. Lovely atmosphere. Not rushed and could remain at your table for as long as you want. Definitely recommend.

The Thornhill Arms is a lovely pub in a lovely village. For dinner we had 3 courses, all of which were amazing, especially the carvery. The staff are friendly, and always attentive and the service was second to none. We were there for the comedy night too which was hilarious.

Table for 1 I picked the Carvery on a Thursday evening, and it was absolutely lovely. Totally fresh, crunchy vegetables ( perfect) And , eat as much as you want !! Highly recommend

We arranged a late afternoon private gathering of about 50 people with 30 buffet ordered. Such a lovely friendly and cosy place. A side room offered seating for about 30 and the main bar 20. Food absolutely fantastic and service excellent. Good selection of drinks including real ales. Plenty of parking too. Highly recommend.

This pub looks small from the outside, but it's actually quite large and has a nice garden. When we went inside, it felt like we were in someone's home. It's a very cozy and intimate place. I would definitely go again.

It was a great, friendly and cosy place. The staff were lovely. We went for a hen do and used the private room out the back. The food was amazing and very reasonably priced. I will definitely go back with my family and would be happy to recommend it. I am a vegetarian and although the choice wasn't huge, what I did have was fantastic!
